Sat, January 20, 2007 - 11:57 AMI have always loved butterflys they are so colorful and beautiful, they flit here and there and I have always thought I had a butterflys spirit. I love to travel and given oppotunity... I am all over the place so I took the name of butterfly intially in Arabic but somehow that didnt flow well enough for me so my dear friend Sunyatta gave me the Persian version of the name and it seemed to flow well hence...... Re: Dancer name
Sat, January 20, 2007 - 2:15 PMthis has been my nickname since I was a baby. Noone was able to pronnounce my fullname when
I was a child and we lived in Holland and so we just shortened it to Tahma (pronounced that way but spelled a little different--I've since slightly changed the spelling due to a psycho ex boyfriend stalker type that manageed to find me on the net with the other spelling).long story, ha ha. My middle name is Alexandria, so sometimes I also dance with the Arabic shortened version so that people can even pronounce it Iskander.
anyhoo, I've been really tempted to change it...I may just do it at sometime in the future. It'll be my chance to change my name to any really pretty name I desire vs. what my folks picked for me, ha ha. but I figure that I will wait b4 making that decision because I really only want to change it once and I want to make sure that I really am in Love with it.
